Child Dedication

Here at Crossroads, we are next generation focused. Our heart is to partner with parents as they raise their children to love the Lord. One of the ways we celebrate this partnership is through a semi-annual Child Dedication ceremony. Our next Child Dedication will be held on Sunday, November 23rd. There is also a required Meet and Greet on November 9th during the 9am service for those who are wanting to dedicate their children. Once you fill out this form, we will send you the link to register for the Meet and Greet.

Child dedications are a commitment made between a child's family and their church family, to raise their child in an environment where they can know and have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Even though we call it child dedication, the ceremony is more about the commitment between the child's parents and our church community.

Before we dedicate a child, we have at least one of the parents attend a meet and greet to connect with a CBC Pastor and the Kids Ministry staff, and to learn/review what the biblical purpose of child dedication is. This class typically takes place during the 9am service 2 Sundays before the actual dedication takes place.

Child Dedication happens twice a year, typically on Mother's day and Thanksgiving Sunday. Family is requested to arrive 20 minutes before service start.
